This week Maria Sharapova concluded a photo shoot for Porsche at Manhattan Beach. In April, she signed a 3 year deal as Porsche’s 1st brand ambassador. The 26-year-old tennis star she sat atop the bonnet of a bright red Porsche 911 Carrera (Guards red). The small high performance vehicle is one she favours, and was it awarded to her after the Porsche Grand Prix.
She has earlier mentioned how she’s never had a speeding ticket, and while she doesn’t wish to change that, the autobahn was a great place to test the cars mechanism. Her 400hp Carrera 4S Cabriolet costs a whopping £100,000.
At the shoot, Maria was also seen getting behind the wheel of a black 356 Carrera Speedster. Both shooting sequences didn’t entail any real driving at the outdoor locale. The photoshoot was followed by a red carpet event at the Porche Design and Vogue re-opening event.
